The power adapter is waterproof, however the two prong connection to the extension cord is not! It is an exposed connection. The WARNING label on every adapter state the adapter must be placed in an enclosure. If you leave an exposed adapter plugged in and laying on the ground with live electricity it will fail, possibly damaging your light display.
Using a proper enclosure will ensure your adapter and lights will operate for years.

My laser light system is 10 years old. It still performs like new. Unfortunately one of the power cords shorted due to wear. This new cord worked with my system. I am happy that it arrived quickly and is compatible with my system.

I I ordered 3 star shower replacement power supply adapter plugs. When they arrived I immediately hooked them up to the star shower lights. They worked perfectly I am completely satisfied !!! If I ever needed more power adapters I would definitely buy them here again!?
I use it to light my terrace and apartment. It works great, everything you need is in the box. My one zonk, would be the plug for my outdoor outlet doesn't go in all the way so I used an extension cord.

Original power chords went bad because the wire pulling out and I could not repair them. Love my projectors so much I replaced them. Should be good for a while. New ones are better quality.
